There are 136 chapters total. Kyo%26#039;s true form is exposed to Tohru in chapter 33 (Volume 6), but the anime kind of went out of order in some things and left some things before this chapter out. So I%26#039;d suggest reading everything, and not just starting on the chapter after this.
