Fruits basket?

whats the diff between anime %26amp; magna are they diff stories or what.. and do the put magna on dvd too will there be more fruits basket dvds? anime or magna...i dont really care

Fruits basket?
Ok....the difference between the FRUITS BASKET anime and manga are....the manga (the book version) is the actual FULL story. The manga came first.

The anime which is the animated television show adaptation of the manga was short lived. It was suppose to tell the whole story, but the people of Japan hated the adaptation for some reason and it was canceled in its first season, only telling a part of the story.

You are better off reading the manga first. Then watching the anime just for fun if you enjoyed the manga.

There will be no more anime of DVD of Fruits Basket. It was canceled years ago in Japan.
Reply:you mean manga?

anime is watchable in tv, computer, etc. while manga is a comic book or a print of comic style in computers

Reply:Manga is more like a comic book but they have the same plot though and anime is like a show. They do have the sam stories but not all of them. The Fruits Basket anime is already finished but the manga will does show the whole story unlike the anime. They left some details in the anime that can only be found in the manga. The anime is actually based on the manga.
Reply:Manga typically refers to print media (graphic novels and comics). Anime is ussually animated cartoons (video).
Reply:go to anime eden and find out
Reply:Manga being printed or graphic comics, while anime is animated. Manga usually tend to come first, followed by the anime adaptation. In relation to Fruits Basket, the anime only goes up to around volume 6 in the manga series, and ends there. The FB books are still continuing to come out.
