in the manga of fruits basket it said that tohru got married with some one but in here i dont get it what happens heres the last episodeo ya also how come we dont get to see all the animales we never say the ox,goat,or rooster

Most anime in Japan does not cover the manga up to the end. These include popular anime like slam Dunk, Fullmetal Alchemist, Hunter x Hunter, etc. Actually, anime which covers the entire manga is extremely rare. The reason for this is that an episode of anime is very expensive to produce. Most anime studios will try to animate a manga for one season only. If it became a real hit, they%26#039;ll produce a new season or some OVAs or movies a year or couple of years later. Normally, these post-1st season productions continue the story in the manga. And it seems Fruit Basket hadn%26#039;t been popular at all. It was produced in 2001 and no new season nor OVAs followed.
Reply:The anime only went through a small portion of the manga. The manga actually continued extremely past the ending of the anime. The anime was probably only five to 8 of the books and the whole series has about 23 books in total but the last couple of books haven%26#039;t been released in the u.s yet.





Edit: It would also be impossible for there to be a second season because they left out too many important details that help develop the plot later on.

i%26#039;ve heard fans are starting a petition for a second season, but no plans had been made by the licensers. =(
