I was just wondering if the manga of Fruits Basket continues the story of the anime or are they basically the same? If not about what manga does the anime leave off on? Easy 10 points!

The anime was goes up to volume 8. Then they just ended it... but yes, the manga does go on (and it%26#039;s a little different too, because they just ended the anime, when it should have been longer, so it doesn%26#039;t have a lot).

Reply:The manga does continue the anime, I think it leaves off at around book 6 or so...

Reply:Yes the anime ended at book 8 of the manga. and the manga has 23 volumes. i think the manga is better cause the anime leaves alot of unanswered question whilst the manga goes into detail about the curse and such. you should read the manga :)
