Fruits basket anime question?

i just finshed watching the hilarious anime of fruits baskets i didnt really like the ending tho. it left me hanging so im gonna read the manga is the manga totaly diferent from the anime cause i dont kno what chapter of the manga i shud start from. and is their a second season ... and whos the dragon...?

if you wanna start reading the manga, you should start at the beginning.. it%26#039;s not totally different but the manga explored a lot more to the story and they have more character development.. they also handle different cases differently (ie Kyo%26#039;s curse, Tohru%26#039;s mom storyline, Hatori%26#039;s past, etc)





try and read from chapter 1 and you know what%26#039;s missing from episdoe 1.. and so on..

hatori is the dragon, cus the myth says that the seahorses are the children of dragon





there would never be a second season to the anime.. do not trust the rumors you%26#039;ve heard..
Reply:i dont think there is going to be a second season, the story starts to get more Series after the anime, and can be depressing for some but it has some funny bits, but it wouldn%26#039;t really make a good anime for the second season, well this is my opinion i could be wrong.
Reply:The endings are different or should I say you get more with the manga. I suggest just start from the beginning because with the anime they had to cut stuff so you missed some/a lot of events and funny moments that are in the manga and also some dark and sad ones too. I%26#039;m not sure about a second season. The dragon is Hatori although in the anime and manga his animal is a seahorse, the dragon of the sea.
Reply:People say that the second season is still in an on-going process, but i do hope it comes out soon!! it left me hanging, too. i got kinda mad. the dragon is hatori sohma. i would tell you what happens in the manga, but i don%26#039;t want to spoil it for you.
Reply:Well the anime and the manga are pretty similar, except the order or events in the anime near the end of the series were mixed up, and in the last episode Tohru never went to Sohma house. I just read it from the beginning. The anime ends in the eighth volume of the manga. The dragon (which is actually a seahorse) is Hatori Sohma.
