i've got an english project due and my teacher said that i could write about fruits basket if i wanted to, and in one of the essays i have to write about the theme!! help?

Like how Tohru was always longing to be accepted but was always left alone, until she met the Sohmas.
And how Kyo wanted to be accepted into the Zodiac because he felt he was an outcast.
And how all of the Sohmas just wanted to be accepted as normal human beings.
Reply:I would say that its about over coming obstacles and self understanding. Cause all the characters have to experiences some sort of growth in order for them to develop and begin to accept themselves for who they are and not who they have been told they are.
