i am doing this thing 2 try and get fruits basket season 2 your vots will surly help ps how many books are there and where can you by fruits b stuff i have tryed hot topic and i do NOT want web eccept for like a fruits basket site that sells this stuff

well i get my books at Barnes and noble! they have them at almost every book store cause it is the number one selling shojo (girl) manga in the US.


also i would love to have a season two for fruits basket so much but, if you have read the magna you will find out that there are so many differences between the anime and manga since the anime was made to last just one season. they are 23 books but only 18 out here in the US.

at my old high school in the library there was a box where you could ask for books you wanted them to get for the library, i wrote fruits basket just for fun and boredem since i already had them at home, and next thing i know my sister tells me that they now have all the books!!


sadly i when i found out i had already graduated from there but whatever. you could try that at your school.
Reply:9.5/10 . I love it. It's one of the best anime i've ever watched! I miss it like so much. I've read the manga and watch the anime. I absolutely love it! I really do want another season of Fruit Basket. Kyo all the way =) And also, There are 23 books if i remember correctly. I read it in Chinese Translation though,not English... I'm not sure if there's difference.,
Reply:ok first of all: YES!!! I %26lt;3 fb mucho! although the first season did end kinda nicely, i would certainly like to see a season 2.


2ndly, there are currently 18 books out as of right now plus the "year of the cat fanbook" which has character info, quizes, etc.


and u can basically get fruitsbasket stuff at any of those asian stores that sell manga and/or anime. Lil' Tokyo in LA has alot of those stores so will any other similar community (im guessing...)


ive also seen places like borders get random fruitsbasket items in stock, but this is not as common.

Reply:I heard there are more episodes in Japan, but they are refusing to translate them because we American's wouldn't like/understand the whole "Akito is a girl" thing... It sucks...





Same with Yami no Matsuei. They stopped translating episodes for some stupid reason...
